he longplayer "Hot Stuff From The Rocketsilo 51" of the Munich quintet THE JUMPIN ' ROCKETS is available sooner than expected. The virus-induced break from performing was used to write and release 19 Rockabilly, Rock'n'Roll and Rhythm and Blues cream pieces. Released as CD on DMG GERMANY. The effort to record all pieces live and without any computer gimmicks was worth it. The result is an album with an authentic vintage sound, where you can't help but notice that five musicians with passion, skill and a collective feeling for the right groove were at work and really had fun. The five JUMPIN' ROCKETS, who were thrown together by chance from different musical styles and who describe their music in an understated way as "Simple music for simpleminded people", are proof that Rockabilly, Rock'n'Roll and Rhythm and Blues are not limited to standards that have been heard many times or can only convince in a modern guise. On the contrary: The recordings let you hear that what's cool is cool! Or as the JUMPIN' ROCKETS say: Don't even try to resist this intergalactic mixture of hot stuff and rockabillity!
