Sointi Jazz Orchestra is an 18-piece ensemble known for its distinctive sound that reinvents the big band tradition and its unprecedented concert performances. On this album, you will hear new and epic Finnish vocals created by singer-songwriter Aili Jarvela! The idea about this project started in 2018, and now the songs composed and arranged by Jarvela have finally made it to the album. Having grown up with folk music, Aili Jarvela is a traveller on her own life path, unafraid to get lost. Born in Kaustis, Jarvela is known as a singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, violinist, producer and freelance musician in many different contexts.
