Jacky Molard - Francois Corneloup Quartet
Entre Les Terres
There are four of them, delivering music that will speak to each and every one of us. With no desire to give in to the ease of technological make-up, they prefer the warmth of a humanist and acoustic union between strings and reeds. This is an intimate quartet, led by the two composers of the repertoire, Jacky Molard (violin) and Franois Corneloup (baritone saxophone), in association with seasoned travellers Catherine Delaunay (clarinet) and Vincent Courtois (cello). Together, they put their finger on the sensitive, speaking a language whose accuracy is the expression of a common vibration, one that comes from the heart and soul in a single impulse. For more than an hour, their instruments - more than ever extensions of their own voices - will not cease to interweave their songs and their beats, jubilantly reversing roles to take their rhythmic and melodic part in turn, according to the routes they take. Their harmonious music is undoubtedly the fruit of a (me)tissage.
