Intarsio Armonico is an italian ensemble leaded by the oboist Giuseppe Falciglia, they presents the collection op.1 of the Sonatas for oboe and basso continuo by the composer and oboist Thomas Vincent. Vincent was a virtuoso of the oboe in the second half of the XVIII century and his activity was centered in London. These sonatas, in first world recording, catch the influences of the italian and french style in an idiomatic form for the wind instrument and are among the first examples of virtuoso chamber music for oboe as complete collection.
