Dancing Is Easy

Having found their musical style, the pair toned down the most apparent country influences and concentrated on strong melodies and chamber pop arrangements for third album, Dancing is Easy. Once again met by critical acclaim, the track Local Library (an ode to a local librarian who introduced them to The Beatles) was playlisted on national radio. Other key tracks Dancing is Easy, Sandra-Lee, The Waltz and Thru Here also received radio play. The album was recorded mostly live straight to analog tape and contains such weird and wonderful instruments as dulcitones, waterphones, music boxes and wistful pedal steel - and plenty of brotherly harmonies, of course
