Dust from the High Desert drifts down on deep forest somewhere outside of Nashville, Tennessee. Located here is Sacred Dog Ranch, the compound and current home of GRW. GRW is the mastermind of singer, composer, and guitarist Gary Russel Werzt. Psychic Soul is the first full-length from GRW. Wertz has assembled a team of outstanding musicians for this release including Nick Oliveri (Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Dwarves) and Eric McFadden (Sgt. Splendor). Psychic Soul is a combination of Stoner Rock and Classic Rock seeped in Soul. Wertz has also appeared on Dave Catching's Shared Hallucinations record released in 2018. There are 500 copies of the record and the vinyl itself comes in two different color configurations : psychic insomnia and soul galaxy.
