14 months after their debut release German duo Grits'n Gravy return with 'Second Shot' - their second album. Musically Grits'n Gravy still stand for '50s Rock'n'Roll, raw Rhythm'n'Blues and early Soul. While their first release mainly consisted of cover tunes this time the duo has written seven originals which are padded by their interpretations of sides like 'Tell A Whale Of A Tale' (Wynonie Harris), 'Act Right' (Wynona Carr) and an inspired re-working of 'I Put A Spell On You' (Screamin' Jay Hawkins).
