SOLENN LE MARCHAND (synths, percussion) and ALBERTO STEVANATO (vocals, guitars) are the creative core of GRIMOON. The beautiful music reflects the atmospheric landscape of north italy where the members of the band live. Influences like ARCADE FIRE, THE BLACK HEART PROCESSION, BLACK MOUNTAIN and CALEXICO lead to two voiced french songs with memorable melodies, melancholic strings and fender rhodes sounds as well as many other instruments such as piano, accordeon, organ, mandolin and banjo wich gives the album a folky sound, even though compared to its predecessor its more of an rock album. Like always every song is accompanied by an cineastic short film, wich are shown at the live shows. Time to discover this wonderful band.
