GRILLMASTER FLASH - full-function entertainer and singer/songwriter from Bremen-Nord - has already shown himself to be shrewdly versatile on his three previous albums. Over the past eight years, he has meandered through alternative and classic rock, power pop and similar genres, including a punk EP. All with a generally strong 80s influence. Now, just under a year after the release of his last album "Komplett Ready" (2022), Grilli has recorded a heavy metal album. You read that right - and it's really serious! The 9 new songs on "Flash Metal" make use of the most diverse varieties of metal and pay homage to the varied genre. Stylistically confident, eloquent, with a lot of dedication to the music: "Flash Metal" is a love letter to metal. DIE ARZTE bassist Rodrigo Gonzalez played the lead guitar and guitar solos on the first single "Der letzte Metalhead". And he's not the only D member on the album... The result is a German-language heavy metal album that is fun to listen to. A bow and unconventional interpretation in one.
