"FOOD", the third project by Paolo Fresu and Omar Sosa completes and concludes the trilogy of the two exceptional artists, including the earlier ones The duo's releases, ALMA (2012) and EROS (2016). Rapper Kokayi from Washington DC, Cristiano de Andr (son of... famous Fabrizio), the Brazilian cellist Jaques Morelenbaum, the South African Singer Indwe and the American pant drum master Andy Narrell. The album is dedicated to taste, aesthetics and "ethics". And so it happened: Over the course of a year, the sounds of restaurants and wineries recorded, as well as the voices of those who work in these places. We hear the mechanical clink of presses, the delicate clink of glasses, the sounds of Frying in oil, pouring wine, knives cutting vegetables, as well as the telling ones Voices of chefs and winemakers and patrons in Italian, Sardinian, Friulian, Spanish, French, English and Japanese. The songs on the album tell the story Stories of recipes, culinary preferences and conviviality. The tracks were "arranged" with edited, mixed and looped fields Recordings that serve as a soundtrack and that Fresu and Sosa compose a suite with Composed original music - including - as an accompaniment - an arrangement of the song "A Cimma" by Fabrizio de Andr.
