Foster, Toby
100 Ways
"100 Ways" is Toby Fosters first solo full length in almost 7 years. During that time Toby was writing and playing in the band High Dive (No Idea Records). The album resonates around the feelings of living in the small college town, Bloomington IN. Loving the small town, but always fearing one day regretting not making bigger changes. The album consists of very personal songs about the more nuanced experiences of life, with the hopes that someone out there can relate. There is a lot of hope in this album even though it may seem dark and hopeless at most times. Toby Foster comes from the same Bloomington, Indiana scene that has fostered bands and labels like Plan It X Records, De_ance Ohio, Nana Grizol, Good Luck and so many more highly influential bands. The album was recorded by Kyle Houpt and mastered by famous cat Lil Bubs owner Mike Bridavsky at Russion Recording.
