La Ferme Des Animaux
La Ferme des Animaux, also known as "Animal Farm" in English, is a sonic spin-off derived from ARFI's musical theater production of the same title. In this album, the characters envisioned by George Orwell (and many others) enter the studio to express their deepest emotions through music. Some attend to the needs of everyone, while others concentrate solely on themselves. Certain individuals succumb to panic, while others opt for escape. The characters include dreamers, complainers, those in despair, and those who hold hope aloft. Mélissa Acchiardi and Guillaume Grenard, both multi-instrumentalists, collaborated with approximately fifty featured guests, infusing this animal farm with a diverse blend of pop, grunge, medieval, rap, and guinguette influences. These musical elements are brought together with lyrics penned by Ophélie Kern.
