Songs That Are Mostly Older Than Us is 84-year old fiddler Fletcher Bright and banjo ace Bill Evans followup to their 2013 release Fine Times At Fletchers House. This time around, they add Norman & Nancy Blake on guitar and cello for ten of this projects sixteen tunes. Recorded live in Fletchers living room atop Lookout Mountain, TN over three days in July 2015, selections include both well-known and more obscure traditional fiddle tunes along with more recent compositions from Norman Blake ("Blakes March), Bill Evans ("Berkeley Shanghai"), Sam Bush ("Norman and Nancy"), Bill Monroe ("Old Ebenezer Scrooge") and Peter Ostrousko ("Heart of the Heartland").
