ELSTER SILBERFLUG exists since 1971 and was founded by Ulrich Freise, Hartmut Hoffmann and Thomas Ziebarth. Equipped with guitar, mandolin and an assortment of flutes they arose to hitchhike to India. In the pocket - a book with German folk songs. None of the usual collections but songs, selected by the originality of the melodies. The collection moves into a period of about 800 years, from the early Middle Ages to the Romantic. Here come the fist two albums from 1976 and 1978 fro the very first time on CD:
