The loose ,family association" THE ELECTRIC FAMILY is such a kind of group of musicians, existing of venerable names of the German music scene, amongst them are Hagen Liebling (rzte), Burghard Rausch (Agitation Free), Ulla Meinecke, Rainer Kirchmann und Ingo York (both Pankow), Volker Kahrs (Grobschnitt, Taras Bulba), Tex Morton (Lolitas), Peter Apel, Anke Lautenbach (Doldingers Passport), Rolf Kirschbaum (Witt, Pachinko Fake), The Voodoo (Philip Boa & The Voodoo Club), Hermann Lammers Meyer, and Tom THE PERC Redecker. On this album the music family is presenting themself with a mixture of psychedelic, trance, rock, and folk, in such an overwhelming way that the well respected american rock author David Fricke (US-Rolling Stone) spontaneously offered himself to write the liner-notes for this album. This album contains as bonus title besides an alternative version of the classic Pink Floyd song ,Careful With That Axe, Eugene!" also two takes of a concert of THE ELECTRIC FAMILY at the international cinema festival in Schwerin 2003. The actor Mario Adorf was so impressed that after the show he paid his respect backstage to the band.
