Ducky Boys
Dead End Street
THE DUCKY BOYS have come a long way from their early days at the Rat in Bostons Kenmore Square. Gone are the oi influences that permeated their debut split 7" with Dropkick Murphys or their early albums on GMM Records. THE DUCKY BOYS maintain the youthful energy and edge but have graduated to a full-on rock n roll band with its own unique and identifiable sound. Dead End Streets picks up where they left off on 2012s Chasing The Ghost and moves in a few new directions. By the time you get to the sixth track youll be wondering how the band has moved this far. Vocalist Douglas Sullivan and Mark Lind go back and forth and keep the energy moving throughout. Perhaps the most compelling song on the disc is the title track, Dead End Streets. It summarizes the story of THE DUCKY BOYS in three minutes. In the meantime, we wait for the next chapter.
