Drain Down
Toxic Society
Old School Thrash with HC Attitude! Founded in Freiburg in 2018, the trio now released their second longplayer, "Toxic Society", which, as with their predecessors, should appeal to fans of old school thrash with a punk/hardcore attitude. In the fall of 2019, the guys spent four weeks on tour in Europe supporting The Exploited before their further development was abruptly interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic, as is the case with many bands. At the end of 2022, the follow-up to their 2021 debut was recorded at Iguana Studios under the direction of Christoph Brandes (e.g. Craving, The Spirit, Pessimist) and see the light of day in early 2024. The 10 songs are in the tradition of hardcore punk-influenced thrash metal, with the genretypically themes like social issues and the decline of society. With a new record and a new label behind them, the Drain Down train will pick up speed again
