Downhauls, The
Scream Into The Void/versus (all Modern Evils)
The Downhauls promise "fast and loud" in their bio, and deliver hard with this brand new four song collection! From heartache, grief, and loss, to triumph and overcoming pitfalls while riding the wave of life, there are times that all you can do is scream into the void in order to keep on going. The album, produced and mixed by Matthew Alexander, kicks off riffy with Dont Care, a fast tale of letting go, featuring backing vocals by Tai Heatley, and some epic Chrissy V screams. Spit the Poison Out is a driving anthem for anyone feeling held back, affirming that it's time to move on! Blindside bounces in with some lyrical sass, heavy rhythm, more screams, and a monumental guitar solo. Then the album rounds out with a cranked up cover of a cover of Hazy Shade of Winter (also featuring Tai Heatley) that was released as a single in March and has received significant play on numerous local and international radio shows.
