Dialysis
Pretty Men
Syracuse, NY's DIALYSIS offer their first full length- a blazing ripper of grind, punk, thrash, and noisecore in 20 tracks. Having already released two seven inch records, as well as a split with hometown labelmates Bleak, DIALYSIS show a range of diversity on "Pretty Men", their first LP. Blazing fast grind mashes up with slower noisecore dirges, oddball samples, and a touch of saxophone too. Recorded in Syracuse at Moresound Studios the band laid down familiar sounds as their previous material, but also tried some new things. Several songs features saxophone parts, as well as a couple tracks that move at a much slower pace than the band's usual M.O. of incredibly fast punk-grind. Heck, one song even has bass in place of guitar. The trio of Ryan Canavan (vocals, saxophone), John Bukowski (guitar), and Matt Calabrese (drums) has created a diverse range of sounds while still keeping intact the immediate urgency of what they're known for. And yes, still keeping the humor in the music as well.
