Devil-m
Astharat
The Embryogod lives - Time for a new Devil-M album What might you expect when Germanys wildest Industrial Metal Band yells at you "fuck it up to the extreme"? Maniacal Rage? Rabies? Most likely both of it. With "Astharat" the four raving mad and insane dreadheads deliver an equally tormenting and forceful masterwork that reminds of a kind of audiophilistic world war III massacre. This time even in their own mothers tongue: German, the language of pure sadism. The concept of this new piece of art roots its origins back in 2014: The debut protagonist imagined himself wrongly insane and schizophrenic, trying to commit suicide. All observed in safe distance and from the outside, while "Astharat" focuses on the inner voice and view, understanding the mechanics of madness and rummaging sensually in the guts of deeper consciousness. Contextually merged and poured into an audio track that symbolizes what slumbers in all of us and our abysses: Bare Anger! We all bear deep inside of us an ugly caricature, avoiding strictly to ever introducing to anyone. Devil-M call this creature Embryogod, an egoistic odious fiend with an undeniable tendency to sadism. Small jigsaw tiles shape the frame for a new album that merges into an inflating thunderdome, eventually on the edge to crash, at long last imploding or transforming into a supernova of hate and disguist. Citing from the sound spheres of Marylin Manson or Psyclon Nine, "Astharat" takes us on a remarkable journey into our own nightmares, without any safeguards.
