Dead Season
Dusting The Rust
Dead Seasons odyssey began in Northern France with the meeting of guitarist and main composer, Guillaume Singer and bassist Nicolas Sanson. Both shared a great passion for Heavy/Trash metal genre and after a long and thorough search, they managed to form a first version of the band which included guitarist Guy-Noël Hoareau. They performed numerous gigs and began recording a full-length album, but alas never managed to complete it. The band then entered a dormant phase. However, far from being inactive, the three musicians played in several bands such as Ufych and Hectic Patterns, both signed on Holy Records. They thus had the opportunity to perform on stage during the Hellfest and Killer Fest and in places like the locomotive, the trabendo to name a few. Having Dead Season always on their minds, they decide one day to reactivate the band by joigning forces with drummer Gregoire Galichet, who crossed their path during what turned out to be a four years hiatus for Dead Season. Once again, they went back to the studio, determined to record their songs once and for all. Julien Jacquemond, Further Dimensions singer, joins the band in 2011 and the band at last manages to produce its first album from Rust to Dust , available since the 15th of January 2013 on Symbol Music. Dead Seasons style may be described as Heavy/trash with some extreme influences yet you can grasp their aim for sobriety and elegance in their compositions. Major influences are Testament, Grip Inc., Pantera and Nevermore. With their first album finally completed, Dead Seasons members are now more than ready to defend it on stage in order to target the masses as they enter the dead season.
