Dead High Wire is a three-piece post punk outfit working its way through the Antwerp underground. Expect punchy 80s drums and edgy cold-wavy riffs from the two guitarists alternately playing the chorus-drenched bass. They have been kicking stages in Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK since 2015 with the current members. Pray For Us is the bands first full album after 2 previous EP's and a 7". Its an absurd meta-pamphlet in these times of turmoil. Their debut, however sometimes harsh and chillly, sounds fresh and frisky to the ears. The songs were recorded live on (miles of) tape with an Otari tape recorder by the band itself and mixed by guitarist Ruben Peeters. "Because fuck you."
