David & Dominique
Integrale 1968-1980 "ouvre-moi Vite La Porte"
David (Jisse) met Dominique (Marge) by the side of the road in the late Sixties_ and it marked the start of a fine adventure in music that lasted 13 years, culminating in the French version of A vava inouva, by the great Kabyle singer Idir in 1975. David and Dominique symbolised a free, Bohemian generation; they were among the artists shaping new French Song in the Seventies, a milieu outside the period's "official" music circuit. Their music surrounds lyrics with blends of folk and psychedelic rock, Brazilian rhythms and jazz, and FrEmeaux & AssociEs is proud to make their complete recordings available again with this set including previously unreleased items and other rarities. A set that appeals to everyone from song fans to collectors hunting golden gems of Seventies pop. Augustin BONDOUX & Patrick FREMEAUX
