The music moves in the borderland between the classical tradition and folk music and has a foot and heart in both genres. With this new string quartet, Jorgen Dickmeiss fulfils an old dream of playing chamber music. He has assembled a quartet consisting of two classical musicians and two folk musicians. Jorgen has also composed and arranged most of the music for this ensemble. You can also hear new compositions and arrangements by Ditte Fromseier, Carl Nielsen's music and traditional folk tunes.
