La Main
La Main's basic formula is a singular trumpet/guitar/drums trio. Each performer immerses himself in the different lines of the piece, as none is specifically dedicated to them, so as to be able to turn the music upside down, to divert it from its initial reality. The band's instrumentation is a motivating force in creating an unusual sound that combines a certain lightness with the impact of a power trio or more, the idea being to be constantly on the lookout for new rules of play, and to ensure that the simplicity of the first listen coexists with a singular and demanding subtext.
