Claude Tchamitchian Trio
Nairi
Nairi is the name of the ancient territory of Armenia. Claude Tchamitchian wanted to evoke it through three suites composed in the spirit of the tales sung, declaimed and peddled by the Aedes. These suites evoke an imagination that goes back to the mists of time, to the origins of forgotten mythologies that are nonetheless still with us. Composed for a small format, he wanted to collaborate with musicians who were true storytellers, with a strong link to their culture and a depth of expression that was appropriate to the narrative of this project. And it seemed obvious to him to create this music with Catherine Delaunay and Pierrick Hardy.
