The concept of freedom born out the abandonment to codes and traditions is at the heart behind Philippe CIMINATO's new release, weAve . Drawing on his mediterranean roots, mixed with contemporary Jazz, word rhythms and extensive experience with Indonesian traditional music, the album also provides many moments of spontaneous group improvisation. The Quintet of close friends is made up of Richard MAEGRAITH (Tenor Saxophone & Flute), Andrien BRANDEIS (Piano), Sofian EL MABROUK (Bass ) and Davy SUR (Drums & Percussion).
