The classic disc from New Yorks Indo-pop pioneers. Featuring the acrobatic voice, urban sitar and infectious composition of Chris Rael, the ferocious tabla of Deep Singh, and a cast of NYCs finest progressive musicians, Tripping With Wanda wanders from lacerating psychedelia to sultry Eastern rock and aching ballads. COBs unique mix of Indian instruments, electric rock and string orchestra was called "irresistible" by the New York Times, "brilliant" by Billboard, and "musical and cultural fusion of the first order" by the Boston Herald. Wanda was originally released in 2002, when COB was regularly filling Greenwich Villages legendary Bottom Line, appearing on NPR, and living at the epicenter of Downtowns art music scene.
