The last track involves two individual songs being superimposed upon one another, and can be heard in three different ways. The atmosphere is profoundly different from, say, ''Alkahest''. quite fitting for Italy's notoriously enigmatic and stylistically capricious doom maestro, really! The emphasis here is on torturous, droning, mammoth dirges, almost VITUS-esque in magnitude, but less anguished and desperate feeling Dark Doom project founded by Paul Chain in 1984, after the split of Death SS. During this project's activity, over 50 different musicians cooperated under direction of the founder and bandleader.In 1987 the name was shortened to Paul Chain, and Chain started experimenting with other forms of music.
