Pum Pum Hotel
The bands tonguetwisting name is derived from the Latin origin of their Belgian hometown Charleroi. Their marked musical preference is Jamaican music from the Sixties, spanning all Ska, Reggae and Rocksteady. In contrast to many other bands of this genre, however, Stephane Orbans juicy Hammond sound is adding a considerable hint of Mod and Acid Jazz. Thus their music is a funky and jazzy alternative to classic Ska.
