Bill Callahan's Peel Session with Smog, in the midst of transitioning to his current identity. In those carefree days, DC suggested he put the Smog in parentheses, so as to keep the name recognition while subtly underminding it. That went on a couple years! The band here are Jessica Billy on fiddle - she played with Mick Turner for a number of years as well - Mike Saenz, who spent some time with Neil Hagerty's Howling Hex, and Jim White from the Dirty Three and seemingly everyone else too.
