Burning Brides have started their own religion with their fourth album "ANHEDONIA". In continuing with their tradition of dark melodic heavy rock, the Brides have once again created a record full of haunting riffs and eerily beautiful anthems. Real life brides and major label survivalists Dimitri and Melanie Coats and best friend Pete Beeman decided to release last year's critically acclaimed "HANG LOVE" themselves. After recent US tours with Mastodon, Eagles Of Death Metal, Helmet, and Fu Manchu, Burning Brides continue to build a loyal underground cult following. "ANHEDONIA" is 13 songs (vinyl 15 songs) 45 minutes long. No bullshit. No filler. Like the days when a band was allowed to develop and show its range from album to album, Burning Brides have allowed their new material to move into deeper waters. Being self-produced, self-financed, and self-managed has afforded the band the opportunity to operate under no label and the artistic freedom to move forward.
