Bitume
Kaputt
The 8th longplayer of the North German punk quartet carries the short and confusingly simple title KAPUTT. What's all this about? Is this the farewell? Is everything seriously and permanently broken? Is KAPUTT the result of resignation from the turmoil of everyday life? Why has KAPUTT become what it is? Questions over questions. The answer only through you! But none of this seems true. Even after 20 years BITUME are still what they are. Bulky, fast, unadapted and with high recognition value on the way. BITUME is at the front and inside. After all these years the band has developed their own sound and song style and performs it impressively on the new longplayer. Highly melancholic, deep like the sea and everything is allowed. The long-term love for punk is still there and holds everything together. KAPUTT features 14 songs that deal with the band's own philosophy that everything that is broken or goes wrong makes something new possible. Falling down - getting up - going on - arriving. The word KAPUTT is by no means to be understood as an end, but carries the new beginning in itself, so to speak. After the storm comes the sunshine. The wind follows the calm. The path on which KAPUTT moves was provided with a suitable sound garment: Powerful, emotional and energetic - just as KAPUTT must sound. Just broken for a second? Broken forever
