Bahlu, Kali
Cosmic Remembrance
Combining west-coast hippie atmospheres with mystical Indian vibes, here's a reissue of a cult rarity from 1967, originally released in the USA by World Pacific. On 'Cosmic Remembrance' we hear Kali speak, scream, laugh and sing in a slightly mad fashion, supported by droning music that features sitars, tablas and a few other eruptive instruments, creating a truly mystifying atmosphere. The music and narrations drag you into a colourful world of strange plants and creatures, which tell you enchanting stories of leprechauns, fairies, witches, Lemurian kings, angels, and "the Northwind getting stoned on pot...".
