This project was born in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic with the aim of creating a simple formation capable of playing live with minimal use of resources and even without the aid of amplification. The Aria Accordion Trio, consisting of Piero Mortara on the accordion, Roberto Puggioni on the fretless bass and Gaetano Fasano on drums and percussion, offers a repertoire of original compositions that bring together the stylistic features of Jazz/Prog with references to Folk and some hints of Classical Music.
