Andrea & Damiano Mercadante
Alea Iacta Est
'Alea Iacta Est' refers to the famous phrase pronounced by Julius Caesar at the edge of the Rubicon river set to music, arranged and titled it to give birth to this first 'on the road' album, which recounts with an explosion of gaiety, irony and pure fun the thoughts, encounters, reflections, professional experiences and loves... personal and musical occasions and emotions experienced in Rome and in Italy. The travelling companion of Andrea Mercadante is his brother and talented drummer (only 18 years old) Damiano, together they share ideas, creativity and important moments of their days but above all... any space in the house. In addition, always by their side they have a fantastic team of singers and musicians who enrich this wonderful reality by giving even more prominence to this album which marks their debut in the recording industry.
