Amazing Transparent Man
Print Is Dead
20th anniversary edition. ATM is part of a long genealogy of punk bands stemming from producer Mass Giorgini's (Screeching Weasel, Alkaline Trio, Rise Against) Sonic Iguana Studios. The ultimate album from the Chicagoland trio of Tony, Chris and Rick, Print Is Dead was hailed by Punknews reviewers in 2004 as a sonic cousin of the Blink-182 Enema-era sound. The band believes they developed their crooning vocals and big-guitar style independently and prefers listeners decide for themselves. Available for the first time on vinyl, this pop-punk classic was recorded at Mass Giorginis Sonic Iguana Studios in the winter of 2003-4. The Lafayette, Indiana studio was a headquarters for many great early 2000s punk rock bands with output from the likes of The Lillingtons, Rise Against and Teen Idols. Print was originally released on CD on Mike Felumlees (Alkaline Trio, Smoking Popes) Double Zero Records and mixed at Atlas Studios, Chicago by Matt Allison. Print was originally released unmastered; this version was mastered for the first time by Giorgini in August 2024.
