For the first time ever, Record Kicks is pleased to announce the release of the long lost soundtrack by Whatitdo Archive Group to the Italian Cinematic Masterpiece "The Black Stone Affair". Long thought to be lost alongside the movie itself by the production studio, the soundtrack's master reels were recently recovered and its audio meticulously restored and remastered by J.J. Golden in Ventura, CA.The movie itself was understood to be unusual for its time: a globetrotting adventure/western-noir written and directed by aspiring visionary, Stefano Paradisi. Unfortunately for Paradisi, the tragic loss of his masterpiece during a fire also meant the end of his short lived career in movies. People who worked on the film have been cited as saying this film was very ambitious, set to be a turning point in Paradisis carrier putting him on the map alongside the likes of Sergio Leone and Antonioni. While the movie never saw the light of day, the soundtrack by obscure band Whatitdo Archive Group has thankfully been recovered.

True, epic doom of the highest order in the vein of Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus and Trouble!On their first studio album in eight years, Preserved in Time, Germanys Wheel delivers seven songs of brooding,emotional doom that promises to be an early 2021 favorite!Wheel was formed in 2006 in Dortmund, Germany by guitarist Benjamin Homberger, bassist Marcus Grabowski andvocalist Arkadius Kurek under the name Ethereal Sleep. The trio knew each other from previous local bands, namelypower metallers Avanitas and thrashers McDeath, but opted for a brand of doom inspired by vintage Katatonia, Opethand Paradise Lost. However, Hombergers heart lied with heavy, emotional and old-school doom metal like Cathedral,Trouble and Saint Vitus. When drummer Carsten "Cazy" Jercke joined the fold in 2009, a name - and sound -change was in order. Jercke suggested "Wheel" not only because it was easier to pronounce in the bands nativeGerman, but it also resembled the slowly-grinding mill wheel as heard in the intro of "Mills of God" on the bandsself-titled 2010 debut.Wheel released their second studio album, Icarus, in 2013, but then underwent a period of inactivity. The band losttheir rehearsal space and real-life events like starting a family and new day jobs took precedence. However, this gavethe members of Wheel, more time to fine-craft the songs that would eventually comprise Preserved in Time, their firstnew studio album in eight years and Cruz Del Sur Music debut.
