Take the primitive and obscure instrumental surf music of the 60s and the atmospheres of compilations such as Frolic Diners and Las Vegas Grind, add some black tuxedos and a splash of Bloody Mary, shake all the ingredients and there you go: THE GHIBLIS. A surf and exotica music combo from Piacenza - Italy. Founded by previous members of another surf band, Diabolico Coup, THE GHIBLIS carry on with the project of revisiting the vibes from the past in a more modern style and with a punk attitude. Long-time lovers of the vintage sound, they just released their debut CD, "Surfinia", including 4 original tracks and 2 covers: the perfect soundtrack to liven up your afternoons on the beach or by the pool or, most probably, the foggy nights of some isolated night club of the Italian Po plain.
